We are currently looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Data & AI Solutions Team. If you are passionate about shaping data projects end-to-end from raw ideas to production success and you thrive in wearing many hats, this role could be for you.
In your role you will work to bring Data Products to life by supporting various business teams in implementing their analytics use cases and collaborating closely with your platform team members to shape the roadmap of the entire data & AI stack.
We are seeking a broad, adaptable skill set: someone who can architect, build, and operationalize robust analytics systems while guiding our journey into the world of agentic AI workflows.
What would your role be?
* Take ownership of analytics initiatives across their entire lifecycle: scoping, design, implementation, and delivery.
* Design and maintain data pipelines and models that empower analytics, reporting, and advanced AI-driven use cases.
* Partner with business stakeholders and technical peers to translate problems into scalable, data-first solutions.
* Explore and prototype agentic AI workflows that move beyond traditional chatbot concepts, leveraging LLMs to automate meaningful, task-driven processes.
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and thought partnership across our analytics and engineering teams.
* Act as a “jack of all trades,” able to pivot between architecture, coding, modeling, and problem-solving as projects demand.
What are we looking for?
* A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
* 7+ years of experience working across the full data lifecycle: data engineering, analytics, architecture, AI/ML, and deployment.
* Strong skills in SQL, Python, and modern data platforms (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, Tableau/PowerBI, Kafka).
* Experience with large language models (LLMs) and ideally hands-on exposure to agentic workflows (not just chatbots).
* A broad technical toolkit, with curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies.
* A collaborative, pragmatic mindset and the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
What we offer
* Top Zurich location with collaboration spaces (including rooftop terraces) and free lunch.
* Friendly, diverse team in an open-office space with modern equipment.
* All the latest technology to help you excel and advance.
* Agile environment in how we think, the way we work and our trust for each other.
* Flat hierarchy with collaboration on all levels.
* Campus feeling and collaborative spirit.
We are looking for talented people, not just a CV that ticks all the boxes. Even if you do not have absolutely everything we have asked for, if this role sounds like a good fit for you, we encourage you to apply.
