The Senior Key Account Manager (d/f/m) - Switzerland for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with existing and new customers. Your goal is to achieve or surpass sales targets by driving revenue.
This role is part of the Sales Department in Switzerland and is field-based, covering the German-speaking regions and Ticion (Aarau, Basel, Zurich, Ticiono, etc.).

You will be responsible for growing and expanding direct sales profit margins within your assigned accounts and/or territory, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. If you thrive in a dynamic, multifunctional sales environment—read on.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share within your territory. Be the primary contact for customers, maximizing business opportunities—both retaining existing accounts and converting competitors’ accounts.
* Maintain and grow existing business through account management and product promotion, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Arrange and conduct meetings, presenting and supporting both company and customer needs.
* Present action plans regularly to management and identify opportunities to win over competitor accounts.
* Build relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors, focusing on decision-makers, KOLs, and C-suite executives to enhance our value proposition.
* Ensure the sales process is on track, aligned with company standards, and manage an accurate sales funnel.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* BSc or equivalent in a scientific discipline or substantial experience in a similar role, with knowledge of the diagnostics market in laboratories and hospitals.
* Experience in direct sales within a complex medical or diagnostic environment.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a proven track record of creating and executing successful strategic account plans in diagnostics or healthcare sectors.
* A consistent record of successful sales and solution selling, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
* Driving license and fluent language skills in English and German; Italian is a plus.
Preferred additional experience includes:
* Experience in tender management, including leading complex tender responses independently and as part of a team.
