PpJoin the FIA at the very heart of Formula 1 and take on a role where finance meets the excitement of the world’s most prestigious motorsport! /p pAs Financial Controller, you will have the opportunity to step behind the scenes of the championship, working closely with F1 Teams and gaining privileged insight into how the sport operates at the highest level. /p pBased in Geneva within a dynamic and international team, you will travel across Europe to meet with senior finance leaders, conduct on-site audits, and contribute directly to safeguarding the integrity and fairness of Formula 1. /p pYou will report directly to the Head of Financial Regulations F1 Teams. /p h3Missions and Responsibilities: /h3 h3Compliance Monitoring Activity /h3 ul liAnalyse and audit the financial submission of the F1 Teams to ensure compliance with the FIA Financial Regulations – F1 Teams /li liCarry-out in-depth reviews of financial data (benchmarking, trend analysis, ratio analysis, etc.) to identify risks and inconsistencies /li liConduct on-site audits and support the relationship with F1 Teams finance departments /li liCooperate with FIA financial advisors on ad-hoc analyses /li liWork on investigations in cases of suspected breaches of the FIA F1 Financial Regulations – F1 Teams /li /ul h3Development of F1 Financial Regulations Documentation Framework /h3 ul liContribute to the continuous improvement of the FIA’s financial documentation and submission processes /li liWork with the FIA IT team and external consultants to enhance reporting tools and submission platforms /li liContribute to the preparation and regular update of guidance documents, training materials, and submission instructions for F1Teams /li /ul h3Profile: /h3 ul liMinimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in financial audit in Big Four companies or equivalent /li liMaster degree in finance, business or accounting /li liSolid understanding of International Accounting Standards, accounting principles (consolidation technique highly desirable), and management accounting/controlling. /li liProfessional motorsport experience in an F1 Team (as an external auditor, consultant, or employee) is an advantage /li liProven ability to perform audit procedures independently /li liFluent English is required.
