Job description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our team at SCOTT HQ in Givisiez. In this role, you will contribute directly to the development of high-performance sports equipment. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across multiple sports divisions, balancing hands-on workshop testing with office-based analysis and documentation. The position also offers opportunities to travel to international testing and production facilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain and expand the internal testing database, including benchmarking and providing feedback to product engineers
· Design, build, and commission proprietary test machines from concept to completion
· Plan and execute performance test protocols in close coordination with Engineering and Quality Management teams
· Conduct technical training sessions for international production partners and technical staff
· Organize and manage test documentation across all SCOTT brands
· Provide technical expertise and root cause analyses
· Audit testing facilities at global production sites to ensure standards and best practices
· Support with product field testing, including defining test objectives, collecting feedback, and processing performance data
Profile
· Master's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field
· Minimum 2 years of professional experience, ideally with a background in product testing
· Strong knowledge of product testing methodologies; familiarity with bicycle mechanics and mechatronic systems is an advantage
· Proficiency with DAQ systems, database management, and CAD software is a plus
· Independent, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities effectively
· Fluent in English; basic knowledge of French or German preferred
· Willingness to work on-site in Givisiez, Switzerland, with occasional travel to international facilities
