Accountant
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure financial health.
* Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
* Ensure adherence to tax regulations and prepare necessary documentation for tax filings.
* Conduct regular audits of financial information and internal controls.
* Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and business operations.
* Provide support during financial audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
* Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles in a commodities trading environment.
* Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong understanding of Swiss accounting principles and financial regulations.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
