Overview
Our client is a globally active industrial with a strong international footprint including multiple production facilities and sales organizations. To support a transformation, the company is looking to strengthen its Group Finance function in Zurich. In this high‑impact position, you will take a leading role in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and contribute to the ongoing transformation of the financial reporting and consolidation landscape. The role includes participation in group‑wide initiatives such as the transition to US GAAP and the integration of newly acquired entities.
Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group
* Analyze and validate reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries
* Support and guide local finance teams across the group
* Maintain and enhance the consolidation tool and reporting frameworks
* Drive continuous improvement in group reporting processes and planning templates
* Contribute to key finance transformation projects, including US GAAP implementation and post‑merger integration
* Collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury and other corporate functions
* Serve as a point of contact for auditors, advisors, and other external stakeholders
Qualifications
* University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, ideally combined with a professional accounting qualification
* At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role within a multinational setting
* Strong knowledge of consolidation systems
* Fluency in English, German is a plus
* Experience with US GAAP and / or IFRS is a significant advantage
* Hands‑on, proactive team player with a structured mindset and high resilience
