Overview
Are you passionate about storytelling that drives impact? Johnson Controls is seeking aSenior Specialist, Content Marketing (12-month maternity cover) to join our smart buildings marketing squad. From content development to program optimization, this is a key role in the team. Specifically you’ll drive our customer stories program that spotlights customer success through compelling case studies and stories from around the globe.
Responsibilities
* Drive program plan & coordination
* Design and implement comprehensive marketing programs that align with business objectives and target audience needs. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery for effective program & campaign delivery.
* Best-in-class project management to ensure a consistent planning process for executing strategic goals and timely accomplishment of tasks.
* Delivery of ongoing calendar milestones and program updates.
* Define marketing processes including deployment of relevant tools.
Content & Communication
* Coordinate the creation of toolkits to amplify the marketing program.
* Collaborate with and work within a matrix setting with key stakeholders across Marketing squads, Geos, Brand, Creative, IT, L&D, and product groups. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business units from PR through to legal.
* Send regular communication updates to support the marketing program - providing critical updates and best practice examples tied to strategic global marketing priorities.
* Develop key content to support the marketing program, ready for deployment in campaigns and to support marketing squads. Leverage modern content tools—including AI-powered platforms—to accelerate content creation.
Program(s) Optimization
* Collaborate closely with campaign, solution and product marketers to keep the program activities closely aligned to squad activities.
* Provide regular reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations for optimization.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
* Identify areas of opportunity in marketing campaigns, and within other marketing content plans to best amplify the marketing program.
What we look for
Required
* Minimum of 5 years’ international experience in marketing, communications, or project management in marketing environment.
* Sound knowledge on office tools (MS Office 365 Apps), preferably with exposure or experience in Adobe tools, web analytics and email marketing platforms.
* Excellent written and spoken English language skills are a must.
* Ability to collaborate and work internationally is required. International marketing experience preferred.
Preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related curriculum.
This role is offered as a 12-month maternity cover contract.
