IT Applications Specialist

My client is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills to join their team of motivated professionals in an engaging and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for RIS, LIS, PACS medical applications
Respond to calls and support tickets, diagnose problems and provide immediate solutions or escalate the problem if necessary
Work in project mode for the implementation of new applications in the existing IS
Assist users in navigation and optimal use of applications
Document the problems encountered and the solutions provided to enrich the knowledge base
Requirements:
Fluent in French and English languages (must-have)
Degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
Experience in an IT support position, preferably in medical environment
Good understanding of RIS, HIS, LIS, and PACS systems
Management of problems related to SQL databases, HL7 data exchanges and DICOM communication
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Eagerness to learn, positive attitude and adaptability
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Open-minded, team-player and solution-oriented
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to travel once/twice per week to other offices
Nice to have:
ITIL certification
Integration of new imaging modalities into the existing PACS/RIS system environment
Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems (Windows)
