You will be part of the next evolution in LoRa and LoRaWAN system architecture. /pppbJob Summary: /b /p /ppJoin our pioneering team in Neuchâtel and take a leading role in developing the next generation of IoT wireless solutions.br/br/We are seeking an experienced bSenior RF Design Engineer /b with deep CMOS IC design and RF system architecture expertise.br/br/This role offers the chance to influence both block- and system-level design, shaping advanced RF technologies from concept to product. /pppbResponsibilities: /b /p /pliLead the design, simulation, and optimization of RF front ends (~40%). /liliContribute to RF architecture definition for receivers, transmitters, frequency synthesizers, and building blocks such as LNAs, mixers, filters, PAs, and VCOs (~20%). /liliExtract S-parameter models for packages and PCBs (~10%). /liliDevelop and optimize matching networks to meet regional regulatory requirements (~10%). /liliSimulate and measure radio performance and compliance (~10%). /liliOptimize application PCBs to ensure robust RF performance (~10%). /lippbMinimum Qualifications: /b /p /pliMaster’s degree in Electronics Engineering. /lili7+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry. /liliProven expertise in LNAs, mixers, filters, and power amplifiers (sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz). /liliExperience with matching network development for Rx/Tx applications. /liliProficient with EM simulation tools (SiWave, HFSS, EMX). /liliStrong understanding of system-level interactions between RF blocks and power management. /liliInnovative, self-motivated, and collaborative team player. /liliExcellent communication skills in English (French is a plus). /lippbDesired Qualifications: /b /p /pliPhD with 12+ years’ experience. /liliTrack record in non-constant envelope modulations. /liliFamiliarity with CSS modulation and LoRaWAN protocol. /lippbCareer Growth Philosophy: /b /p /ppAt Semtech, we believe that innovation starts with people.
