As Business Development Manager, you will be the bridge between market demand and optical innovation: spotting trends before they peak, uncovering fresh use-cases for our current portfolio, shaping the roadmap for next-generation products, and partnering with our sales team to turn opportunities into sustainable growth. Tasks
* Strategic development of Optotune's business in laser applications
* Acquisition of new customers worldwide
* Market research & definition of new products
* Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
* Content creation for marketing materials
* Participation in trade shows
Requirements
* Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
* At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics/photonics
* Experience in management consulting advantageous
* Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
* Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
* Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
* Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous
* Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
