Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement core product features in close collaboration with our founding team.
2. Find pragmatic solutions to complex algorithmic problems.
3. Strike a balance between scalable code design and development speed.
4. Contribute to shipping new features and improvements to our products.
5. Scale our existing software stack and algorithms to serve demanding use-cases.
6. Maintain our DevOps stack to continuously improve our own development practices.
7. Support the team in establishing a stable, high-quality, and flexible software engineering process.
Requirements:
* 6+ years of experience or exceptional impact at the organizational level in developing production-level code across various technologies.
* Experience in building up or leading teams while contributing to the core tech.
* Familiarity with production-level Python, C++, Golang, or another interesting set of programming languages.
* Strong sense of product/customer needs.
* Enjoy working on a wide range of algorithmic problems and designing efficient software systems.
* Frequent contributor to open-source projects and an active participant in open-source communities.
* Ability to work independently and produce results without constant supervision.
* Pragmatism, ownership, hands-on approach, and a focus on long-term vision.
