Kubernetes Engineer | Delivering Real Systems into Banking Environments
We are working with a highly specialised software company operating in the financial sector, delivering complex, real-time systems used by banks and financial institutions across Europe.
This is not a “platform only” role.
This is about getting software running in the real world.
The Role
You will be part of a team responsible for delivering and supporting software deployments across a variety of environments, including:
* Cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
* Air-gapped and security-constrained banking setups
Each client environment is different. Your role is to make it work.
That means:
* Understanding client setups
* Troubleshooting deeply when things break
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deploying and configuring applications using Kubernetes and Helm
* Supporting complex client environments across multiple K8s versions and architectures
* Troubleshooting issues across networking, storage, and workloads
* Working closely with clients to guide and support deployments
* Analysing logs, debugging failures, and improving reliability
* Contributing to improvements in deployment processes and tooling
What They’re Looking For
* Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in real environments
* Solid experience with Helm and Helm chart customisation
* Good understanding of:
* Docker and container lifecycle
* Experience troubleshooting using kubectl, logs, metrics
* Exposure to tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, GitLab CI or similar
* Comfortable working across on-prem and cloud environments
