Are you passionate about risk analytics and solvency reporting? Do you enjoy working with complex models and translating technical insights into actionable recommendations? We are looking for a seasoned risk professional to join our Solvency Reporting & Analytics team, contributing to a wide range of activities that support Swiss Re’s capital management and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will:
• Prepare and submit internal and regulatory solvency reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FINMA requirements.
• Coordinate the end-to-end solvency reporting process, including data collection, validation, and analysis.
• Communicate solvency results and insights to senior stakeholders, including the Group CRO and executive team.
• Support scenario analysis and stress testing to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyze and interpret changes in the risk landscape.
• Conduct SST ratio sensitivity analysis as part of broader solvency and capital impact assessments
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk Management, and Actuarial teams to ensure consistency and transparency in capital impact assessments.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated reporting tools and processes.

About the Team


The Solvency Reporting & Analytics team is part of the Solvency & Financial Risk Management function. We are responsible for internal and external solvency reporting, scenario analysis, and risk analytics that support Swiss Re’s capital steering and resilience. We work closely with stakeholders across the Group to provide independent risk insights and enable informed decision-making.

About You

You're a detail-oriented risk professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys translating complex technical concepts into actionable business insights. Your analytical mindset and communication skills allow you to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and strategic business objectives.


We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in the re/insurance industry, ideally in risk, actuarial, or capital management roles
• Strong understanding of economic solvency frameworks (e.g., SST, Solvency II)
• Proven experience with solvency reporting, sensitivity analysis, or capital modeling
• Advanced degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or a related field
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
• Fluent in English; and German is an asset but not required
• Proficiency in Excel and ideally knowledge of one programming language (e.g., Python, R, or SQL)
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of automation tools and data visualization techniques is an asset

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 128'000 and CHF 192,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
