Join Experis Switzerland as a Platform Engineer and help design, implement, and operate secure and resilient platforms for cyber training applications.
As part of the role, you will automate software components, maintain development, testing, and production environments, monitor platform performance, SLA compliance, and collaborate closely with DevOps and system engineering teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
Your Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and operate a secure, stable, and resilient platform for cyber training applications
* Develop scripts to automate software applications, components, modules, and interfaces
* Ensure the availability and configuration of development, testing, and production environments, including necessary network infrastructure
* Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security; identify and resolve bottlenecks early while ensuring SLA compliance
* Collaborate closely with DevOps and system engineering teams to align infrastructure with application requirements and integrate CI/CD pipelines
* Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and processes to ensure transparency and traceability
Your Profile
* Degree in Computer Science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist, or comparable professional experience in platform or application development
* Strong knowledge of virtualization and container technologies such as Proxmox, VMware, KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Passion for automation with hands‑on experience using tools like Ansible and/or Terraform
* Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for infrastructure automation
* Experience with hyper‑converged systems and storage solutions such as MinIO is an advantage
* Independent, proactive, and detail‑oriented working style
* Excellent English skills (spoken and written); German skills are a plus
