The CLM Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst is responsible for managing Due Diligence Activities related to Customer lifecycle events.

What you will do :
The Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Analyst manages and conducts Customer Due Diligence activities across risk levels to meet legal, regulatory, HSBC policies, and procedures (Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions).
He/She ensures prospect and/or customer KYC/KYT information meet requirements through activities like screening using internal tools, open media research, reviewing documentation, and coordinating external vendor reports when applicable.
He/She supports CLM analysts in Customer Lifecycle processes such as Client Selection and Onboarding, Periodic and Event-Driven Reviews, Changes in Circumstances, and Modifications.
This role provides operational support to client-facing teams, ensuring compliance and delivering a first-class client experience during key client stages.
Reporting to the Client Lifecycle Management SME and Production Support Lead for EDD, under the Head of Onboarding and Customer Due Diligence.
In this role you will :
* Provide advisory and operational support to front office staff for all new and existing client activities, ensuring compliance with risk appetite and guidelines, and protecting HSBC’s reputation.
* Enhance client experience in line with CLM’s strategy, supporting proactive client management.
* Maintain high standards of client service and operational excellence.
* Ensure fair outcomes and transparent market operations.
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
* Adapt to regulatory, technological, and organizational changes.
* Collaborate with front office and stakeholders to promote a unified culture and enforce requirements.
* Follow up on tasks and escalate issues promptly.
Requirements
* Knowledge of EUNINT and/or MENA markets from a KYC/KYT perspective.
* Deep knowledge of AML, compliance, and controls in Swiss Private Banking/financial services.
* Relevant degree or work experience.
* Experience in due diligence activities (screening, research).
* AML certifications (ACAMS, Vision Compliance, or similar).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Client-facing experience (meetings).
* Problem-solving and can-do attitude.
* Resilience under pressure.
* Strong teamwork skills.
* Ability to work professionally across all levels.
* Proficient IT skills, adaptable to new tools and software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
* Eligible Swiss or EU citizens or holders of a valid Swiss work permit (due to immigration restrictions).
