Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct combustion dynamics analysis using simulation and test data processing.
2. Develop mitigation strategies using thermoacoustics tools.
3. Assist in design decisions and root cause analysis by leveraging predictive analysis simulations.
4. Execute analysis or evaluation projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to engineering practices, procedures, and product requirements.
5. Document work clearly and effectively present results in formal and informal reviews.
6. Develop methods, best practices, and templates to be communicated with the global GE community.
Requirements
* A Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Several years of engineering experience in a practical application.
* Expertise in solving dynamical systems using CFD, Finite Element codes, and/or network models.
* Thermoacoustics modeling and signal processing experience.
