You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our growing infrastructure; also, collaborating with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will be working in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in a wide range of technologies. The position is based in Zug, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure high availability of a globally distributed infrastructure
* Monitor systems for outage and repair as needed
* Maintain and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
* Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
* Create tools to help other users make the most out of the available infrastructure
* Office IT for Mac and Windows users
Skills:
* Fluent English required
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage own workload
* Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
* Overcome language and cultural barriers
* Experience with Linux servers (RedHat based, Debian based)
* Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of Linux services
* Strong grasp of configuration management tools, such as Ansible
* Ability to troubleshoot problems with various Linux distributions
* Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
* Experience with Physical Server hardware
* Experience with Virtualization Platforms - VMware, Proxmox or KVM
* Experience with Container Platforms – Kubernetes, Docker, Podman
* Experience with FreeIPA, Prometheus, Bareos, Proxmox Backup Server, Loki, Opensearch or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SIP, RunDeck, and AWX is considered a plus
* Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc) is considered a plus
