Job description
You will be an active and initiative part of a small and motivated team developing innovative surface and interface enhancement processes for new products and applications.
As main tasks you will:
* Design and develop robust surface coating processes mainly on vacuum based equipment.
* Analyze samples by phenomenological testing. Perform in-depth defect analyses and propose and demonstrate improved processes.
* Document and promote your solution.
* Realize prototypes and small series. Upscale and transfer your processes to mass production.
* Independently define and manage R&D projects internally as well as with external partners to achieve fixed objectives.
* Perform technology scouting and early state identification of the latest trends in surface treatment and coating technologies.
* Provide expertise on demand in above-mentioned domains.
