Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage the activities at the reception during the night shift.
2. Ensure communication and follow-up with the day shift on any issues, guest requests, or special requirements.
3. Review late arrivals, early arrivals, and departures to plan for the next day’s activities. Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements.
4. Run daily reports, night audit reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
5. Greet guests on arrival and conduct check-in and registration procedures efficiently and friendly, using guest names whenever possible.
6. Knowledge of room rates and upselling when appropriate.
7. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, and ensure all billing procedures are correctly handled, minimizing rebates during checkout and bidding farewell to guests.
8. Ensure all departmental equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
9. Maintain Six Senses standards of service and operation, exceeding performance benchmarks.
10. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel operational role. A diploma or degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
2. Technical skills include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
3. Fluent in English and French.
4. European or Swiss Passport.
