Team leader - subsystems engineering (m/w/x)

PpbYour Responsibilities /b /p /p liYou lead and develop the members of the Subsystems Engineering team by supporting employees, developing and allocating competencies, and ensuring effective team organization /li liYou estimate the effort and budget required for Subsystem Owners’ tasks related to projects, serial changes, and problem-solving activities /li liYou are responsible for quality, consistency, and timely delivery of development activities and deliverables for the team, while monitoring budget status /li liYou are responsible for operational stability, prioritization, and coordination of all Subsystem Owner activities across development and series support /li liYou own and develop the subsystem knowledge management system, including failure modes, validation and design guidelines /li liYou lead and support 8D problem-solving activities and ensure the capitalization of lessons learned /li liYou are responsible for correct definition of Subsystems DVPR for new projects and serial changes /li liYou act as the first-level escalation owner for technical issues, project conflicts, and supplier-related issues, while supporting Subsystems Owners, Project Management, and the Sales department in discussions with suppliers and customers /li liYou report to various stakeholders, such as the Department Leader and the Technical Core Team /li ppbYour Profile /b /p /p liYou have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in internal combustion engines and powertrain engineering /li liYou have strong experience and expertise in combustion engine development, subsystem development and validation (DVPR), a broad understanding of engine subsystems, as well as project management /li liYou have an excellent command of English and French /li liYou have an excellent command of MS Office /li liYou possess proven technical and disciplinary leadership skills, along with strong potential for further development /li liYou are able to manage conflicts and escalations effectively, demonstrating strong communication skills within cross-functional teams /li liYou are a highly resilient professional with a strong sense of responsibility, capable of working in high-pressure environments while remaining mindful of costs, resources, and strategy /li ppbOur Offer /b /p /p pCan we inspire you to take on a responsible position in a dynamic and independent family business?
