HPE Professional Services Delivery (PSD) guides customers throughout their digital transformation journey to achieve stronger business outcomes. We help organizations maximize the value of their IT investments through expertise in solution delivery, optimization, consulting, training, and ongoing support. As part of this team, you will translate strategy into reality—bringing HPE's Edge‑to‑Cloud and as‑a‑service vision to life for enterprise customers
As Technology Consultant you:
* Operate as a technical expert and trusted advisor. You apply subject‑matter expertise and independent judgment to design, and deliver enterprise‑grade solutions across hybrid, classic, and modern IT environments.
* You influence customer outcomes, drive integration across complex landscapes, and take ownership of small‑scale projects with a strong delivery and consulting mindset.
* Develop detailed technical solution designs for enterprise-scale environments.
* Ensure that solutions meet HPE and customer security, compliance, and operational requirements.
* Shape modernization strategies and guide customers in transforming and optimizing their IT landscape.
* Lead hands‑on deployment and implementation, ensuring seamless integration with customer processes, tools, and operational frameworks.
* Leverage your broad understanding of IT infrastructure, networking technologies, and enterprise processes to guide and support strategic customer initiatives.
* Share knowledge, contribute to communities, and collaborate across teams.
* Regularly influence the improvement of HPE Services and products.
* Meet and maintain your professional edge by keeping skills and certifications current and relevant.
* Participate in the selling process and work with sales/principals on pre-sales activities.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…
* Technical academic degree or equivalent professional experience
* 6+ years working with compute, storage, virtualization, IT transformation projects and sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise.
* mastered at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, VMware and Linux operating systems
* Practical experience with HPE virtualization and cloud management solutions, including HPE GreenLake, HPE VME and Morpheus is a plus.
* Experience or strong interest in automation and container technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to adapt to diverse technical challenges and environments.
* Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence to stakeholders.
* strong communication and consulting skills, including: questioning, listening, ideas development, presenting, convincing and documenting.
* The ability to collect, analyse and translate business requirement into clear technical functions or deliverables and develop a compelling proposal.
* The ability to lead small teams in delivery of a specific deliverable or to run customer workshops or education sessions.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in German and English language.
