Our exclusive partner R. Stahl develops and produces electrical engineering products including HMI, automation technology, lighting technology, installation technology, and control system products at multiple locations in Germany and internationally.
We are currently seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer (m/w/d) for Kunststoff Technology at our headquarters in Waldenburg. The position is based on a 37-hour workweek under the IG Metall tariff agreement.
Key responsibilities
1. Planning, implementing, and optimizing new manufacturing technologies, machines, and tools.
2. Participating in change management and approval processes focusing on manufacturing workflows.
3. Optimizing assembly and production processes concerning quality, costs, and delivery performance.
4. Integrating new products into existing or new production lines, including process planning and layout design.
5. Conducting time and motion studies and capacity analyses to improve efficiency.
6. Technically coordinating and adjusting equipment, tools, and processes to ensure product quality.
7. Documenting manufacturing processes, investments, and capacity data.
8. Managing interfaces with development, production, procurement, and quality departments, and reporting regularly to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
* Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with a focus on production, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, automation, or equivalent.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, especially in introducing new products into manufacturing, preferably in plastics.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, lean manufacturing, and production planning/control systems in plastics.
* Ability to collaborate across disciplines, including development, quality, and production teams.
* Knowledge of plastics welding and processing methods.
* IT skills: SAP, CAD (preferably SolidWorks), MS Office (especially Excel), and process simulation software.
* Fluent German and good English skills.
* Personal qualities: motivated, engaged, communicative, team-oriented, skilled negotiator, assertive, independent, analytical thinking.
