Responsibilities
1. Responsible for comprehensive and effective Data Management of big datasets for chemical legislation ( REACH, RoHS, POP, Cal. Prop 65, TSCA), and Extended Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging, Batteries and WEEE legislation) within SAP EH&S(M) and in future, S/4HANA ensuring Compliance and Sustainability of electronic devices
2. Maintain, develop, and improve high-performance automated data solutions ( using Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Python, Scripts etc.)
3. Ensuring data conformity, quality and integrity (according to data model); as well as carrying out plausibility checks
4. Eliminate waste by radically simplifying processes with an emphasis on automating redundant manual processes and foster automated report creation
5. Interacting directly with suppliers, internal customers, and subject matter experts to ensure thorough evaluation and accuracy of EH&S Data
6. Managing EH&S Compliance Assessments for new Product Launches and Product Updates as well as managing Material Changes with impact to chemical Compliance
7. Contact person (1st level support) for Data Requests and Reports from Customers

Profile
11. Masters degree in in environmental sciences, engineering, natural sciences, material sciences, information sciences or comparable
12. Relevant experience in the electronics, (medical) device or automotive industry in the product safety environment ( EH&S data management, material declaration, product stewardship)
13. Sound understanding of the chemical composition of materials, especially those used in electronics, devices and packaging
14. Experience with chemical legislations ( REACH, RoHS, POP, Cal. Prop 65, TSCA), and Extended Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging, Batteries and WEEE legislation)
15. Preferably you have very good knowledge of (global) chemical regulatory legislation ( REACH, RoHS, POP, Cal. Prop 65, TSCA), and Extended Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging, Batteries and WEEE legislation)
16. You have an affinity for handling large amounts of data, process automation and a preference for data science for Supplier Governance and Oversight
17. Understanding of system and data management, to effectively manage material declarations and compliance documentation
18. Negotiation skills and efficient communication characterize you. You are able to skillfully place requests for material information
19. Experience and expertise in agile project management or working in an agile environment
20. Fluent in English - verbal and written, any other language is a plus
