Medical Assisting - Adjunct Description
South College Online seeks candidates for an adjunct Medical Assisting faculty member. Successful candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught Medical Assisting in the online format. The position is online remote and will report directly to the Department Chair for Medical Assisting.
Requirements
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (master’s degree preferred).
* Current / active Medical Assisting certification
* Current / previous experience in a clinical setting as a medical assisting (minimum 3 years)
Experience
* Current credential in the teaching area.
* Post-secondary teaching experience.
* Experience with online instruction preferred.
