Data Scientist-Banking vacancy for our Switzerland based client in the banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Supporting data analytics and business intelligence initiatives, with a focus on Internal Fraud
- Designing, developing, validating, implementing, and monitoring predictive models
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to design quantitative solutions using various analytical principles
- Creating and maintaining relevant documentation
- Assessing and managing change requests raised by the business
- Executing regular and ad-hoc analysis and reports
Your experience/knowledge:
- Strong banking experience with a focus on compliance, risk management, and legal
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a project environment
- Master or Bachelor's degree in STEM fields, economics, or banking and finance
- Strong database programming skills (e.g., SQL)
- Proficient in programming (e.g., Python)
- Language skills: Fluent in English
