Software Engineer Embedded AI 
At Sonova R&D, we're not just developing hearing devices; we're shaping the future of hearing technology. Core of this revolution is the ability to deploy and execute neural networks on our next generation embedded platform. This calls for innovative tooling and firmware infrastructure - a challenge where you can have a great impact on the performance of our products.
We are looking for you, as our new colleague and embedded software engineer. In this role, you bridge between cutting-edge AI and ultra low-power embedded systems by developing our embedded AI software stack.

 Your tasks
 1. Implement firmware on a deeply embedded AI platform with tight latency, memory, compute and energy constraints
 2. Collaborate with our AI and DSP experts to analyze Sonova’s audio AI algorithms for hearables and hearing aid applications
 3. Tailor AI algorithms to the embedded platform (. quantization, scaling according to the memory and compute constraints)
 4. Optimize performance, energy, latency throughout the entire embedded AI software stack
 Your profile
 5. Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
 6. Profound experience in embedded C/C++, Python, and object-oriented programming
 7. Experience with embedded neural networks and their deployment frameworks (TFLite, ONNX, TVM, …), compilers, micro NPUs and system simulations.
 8. Knowledge in audio processing would be a plus
 9. Fluent in English
