Make your mark for patients: We are looking for a Quality Control Pharmaceutics Specialist who is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and improvement‑driven to join our Quality Control team based in our UCB office in Bulle, Switzerland.
About the Role
As a Quality Control Pharmaceutics Specialist, you’ll support and enhance laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with GMP and UCB policies. You’ll drive analytical excellence, lead improvement initiatives, and contribute to strategic and operational goals across the site.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be part of the Quality Control team, collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technical Services, and other global UCB departments. You’ll also interface with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders during audits and inspections.
What You’ll Do
Act as SME for analytical methods and lab equipment
Lead troubleshooting, deviations, and investigations in the lab
Support implementation of new methods and equipment
Maintain inspection readiness and contribute to audits
Drive continuous improvement in lab processes
Collaborate on strategy, budgeting, and cross‑functional projects
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a scientific discipline
5+ years in the biopharmaceutical industry
Strong knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, UV, and analytical techniques
Experience with GMP, pharmacopeias (EP, USP/NF, JP)
Project leadership and problem‑solving skills
Fluent in English and French
Proficient in IT and office tools
