Overview
Battery System Engineer (F/M) 100% role at CSEM, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The Battery Systems group within the Sustainable Energy Business Unit designs, tests, and validates high-voltage battery systems, including commercial products and the internal zBMS platform.
Your mission
The battery system engineer supports the battery system team by designing, putting into operation and testing high-voltage battery systems, including commercial products and the internal zBMS platform.
Responsibilities
* System integration and realization of battery systems demonstrators up to 100 kW and 800 V
* Modelling and simulation of battery/energy systems using Python, Matlab or similar (advantage)
* System-level analysis, including functional prototype verification and documentation
* Standard-conform validation of developed prototype systems
Your profile
Know-how
* MSc/PhD in Engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience
* Track record in high-voltage and high-power system design
* Proven experience in battery standards and associated testing and validation protocols
* Experience in prototyping power systems up to 100 kW and 800 V
* Proven experience in testing and validation using appropriate laboratory equipment
* Implementation and configuration of communication protocols
* Professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
