Job Overview:
We are actively seeking experienced Commodity Traders across any commodity type, with a preference for those with a background in physical trading. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with strong commercial backing and growth potential.
You will be responsible for originating, executing, and managing profitable trades, leveraging your market knowledge, client network, and deal-making expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Originate and execute trades across any commodity (energy, metals, agri, chemicals, etc.)
* Preferably manage physical flows (procurement, logistics, sales, contracts, financing)
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and counterparties
* Identify arbitrage and margin opportunities across global markets
* Monitor market trends, price movements, and geopolitical developments
* Coordinate with risk, operations, finance, and logistics teams
* Deliver on P&L targets and contribute to growth strategy
Profile:
* Proven experience in commodity trading (physical or paper)
* Established network of clients/suppliers/counterparties
* Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial drive
* Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills
* Ability to work independently and manage a P&L
* Familiarity with trade finance, shipping/logistics, and contracts is a plus
