Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure product quality through monitoring tasting panels and inspecting mise en place.
* Manage food production, give instructions to team, and maintain standards with minimal spoilage.
* Supervise product delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Oversee Galley staff during operations, ensuring compliance with safety and storage standards.
* Participate in daily meetings and organize staff briefings on menus and events.
* Control food consumption and ensure cost targets are met.
* Train staff in production methods, culinary techniques, and presentation.
* Provide training and orientation for new staff.
* Maintain knowledge of health standards and ensure compliance.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum five years of culinary experience, with at least two years as Demi Chef de Partie in high-volume settings.
* Cruise ship experience preferred.
* Deep knowledge of international cuisines, especially Western/Continental, and USPH/HACCP standards.
* Qualification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
* Ability to supervise multicultural teams.
* Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
* Good English communication skills.
