It also ensures the military and logistical tasks delegated to the canton by the Confederation, including the management of military infrastructures and equipment at the Colombier site. Finally, it manages the entire fleet of mission vehicles.In the context of your role, you are responsible for the sanitary and heating infrastructures of all barracks and buildings managed by the service. Thanks to your expertise, you ensure their maintenance, management, and repair, while providing improvements to existing infrastructures. Routine troubleshooting, minor repairs, as well as the proper functioning of specific equipment, such as heaters, boilers, and hot water production systems, are an integral part of your activities. You regularly maintain ventilation units and monitor the sanitary facilities of shooting ranges and warehouses, ensuring their proper condition. As the service contact person for larger-scale work, you coordinate interventions and maintain contacts with civil companies, thus guaranteeing a high level of quality. Finally, you carry out periodic checks of gutters and rainwater systems.ProfileHolder of a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) in plumbing, heating installation, tinsmithing, or an equivalent qualification, you have at least five years of experience, particularly in troubleshooting and maintenance. You have a sense of responsibility, work autonomously, and show availability, and you do not hesitate to take initiatives. Comfortable with standard tools, you master remote building management software. This position also requires good physical condition, an aptitude for working at heights, as well as working in a military environment, oriented towards security aspects.
