For our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company specializing in innovative drug delivery systems and medical device development, we are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician Device Testing (m/w/d). This renowned organization operates state-of-the-art testing facilities in Basel and is at the forefront of developing life-saving medical devices that reach millions of patients worldwide.
Your responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive functional testing of medical devices including syringes, autoinjectors, pens, and combination products in our advanced Basel laboratory
* Measure critical performance parameters such as injection forces, dose precision, timing accuracy, leakage detection, and dimensional specifications
* Execute and document testing protocols for product characterization, design verification, method validation, and root cause analysis investigations
* Generate detailed test reports and maintain comprehensive documentation of all laboratory activities
* Lead equipment qualification processes and perform routine maintenance of analytical instruments while preparing qualification documentation
* Review technical documentation including SOPs, test methods, validation protocols, and method transfer documents
Your profile
* Laboratory technician background with several years of hands-on experience in laboratory environments, ideally within medical device or pharmaceutical sectors
* Strong technical interest in multidisciplinary drug delivery device technologies and testing methodologies
* Collaborative mindset with excellent teamwork skills and an open approach to cross-functional collaboration
* Flexible working style with pragmatic, goal-oriented approach and scientific problem-solving capabilities
* Fluent English skills in both written and verbal communication for international project collaboration
