Team members join an environment that values creativity, quality, and long-term brand building. /p h3Role Description /h3 pThe Product Development Procurement Manager is responsible for leading both packaging development and strategic procurement activities for fragrance and beauty products. The role ensures excellence in packaging execution, industrial feasibility, supply continuity, supplier performance, cost competitiveness and successful product launches aligned with brand strategy and financial objectives. The position acts as a key transversal interface between Marketing, Operations, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing sites and external suppliers worldwide. /p h3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 h31. Product Packaging Development /h3 ul liLead the development of: Primary packaging, Secondary packaging, accessories, gift sets, POS materials. /li liTranslate marketing briefs into technically and industrially feasible solutions while ensuring the best cost/performance ratio. /li liCoordinate development activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. /li liManage new products from development phase through to mass production, including: creation of new article numbers, purchase orders, order confirmations, documentation and filing. /li /ul h32. Technical Validation Industrialization /h3 ul liSupervise: technical drawings, prototypes, samples, Artworks, BAT approvals, pre-series, line trials, industrial qualifications. /li liValidate industrial feasibility and packaging compatibility. /li liCoordinate technical issue resolution during development and production phases. /li liMonitor and ensure compliance with the agreed timeline throughout the entire development process. /li /ul h33. Strategic Procurement Supplier Management /h3 ul liDefine sourcing strategies for packaging and industrial categories. /li liLead supplier selection, negotiation and performance management. /li liNegotiate: pricing, MOQ, lead times, contracts, tooling investments, logistics conditions. /li liEnsure supply continuity and anticipate supply chain risks. /li /ul h34. Production Planning, Cost Control Financial Management /h3 ul liProduction planning based on provided forecast data. /li liBill of Material (BOM) creation and management including master data maintenance. /li liPreparation of price requests and autonomous management of purchase orders for assigned product categories. /li liMonitor and maintain inventory levels, order tracking, and control/documentation of goods receipts. /li liParticipate in inventories in close collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy. /li liDrive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining luxury standards. /li liMonitor raw material evolution and supplier pricing impacts. /li liContinuously review prices and commercial conditions to ensure competitive market conditions. /li liSupport budget preparation and tooling/Capex follow-up. /li liContribute to inventory optimization and obsolescence reduction initiatives. /li /ul h35. Project Management Cross-Functional Coordination /h3 ul liManage multiple development and procurement projects simultaneously. /li liCoordinate with: Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Regulatory, Quality teams. /li liEnsure alignment between launch timing, industrial constraints and business priorities. /li liEscalate risks and implement mitigation plans. /li liFoster close collaboration between Product Development, Sales, Production and suppliers to optimize processes. /li /ul h36. Supplier Performance Quality Management /h3 ul liMonitor supplier KPIs: quality, service level, OTIF, responsiveness, innovation capability. /li liSupport resolution of quality and supply issues with suppliers and internal teams. /li liHandle customer claims and complaints, including coordination of returns and replacement deliveries. /li /ul h37. Innovation Market Intelligence /h3 ul liMonitor market trends and packaging innovations. /li liBenchmark luxury competitors and emerging technologies. /li liPropose innovative and sustainable packaging solutions aligned with brand positioning. /li /ul h3MANAGEMENT SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liCoordinate cross-functional project teams and supplier activities. /li liSupport knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the department. /li liContribute to strategic decision-making regarding sourcing, industrialization and product development. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of luxury packaging technologies and industrial manufacturing processes. /li liUnderstanding of sourcing, procurement and supplier management. /li liKnowledge of glass, plastics, carton, decoration techniques and packaging industrialization. /li liGood understanding of supply chain and production constraints. /li liERP/SAP knowledge and strong analytical skills. /li /ul h3EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging or related field. /li li5–10 years experience in Product Development, Procurement or Packaging within luxury fragrance, cosmetics or premium consumer goods industries. /li liExperience managing suppliers and cross-functional projects in an international environment. /li liFluent English mandatory.
