Trade Entry Specialist

Embark on an exciting career as a Trade Entry Specialist, overseeing the full lifecycle of trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliations across various asset classes.

This role involves accurately creating financial transactions, ensuring all data is complete and verified, managing transaction confirmations with counterparties, resolving discrepancies promptly to avoid settlement failures, and communicating effectively with counterparties and internal teams to confirm trade details.


About this Role

* Create financial transactions, including FX, OTC, and money market transactions.
* Manage transaction confirmations with counterparties, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
* Communicate effectively with counterparties and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Facilitate timely and accurate settlements, monitoring transaction flows to ensure seamless processing and reconciliation.

In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with internal teams, such as trading, compliance, and risk, to ensure smooth operations. You will also partner with external counterparties, including brokers, custodians, and clearing houses, to address settlement issues and maintain robust controls to ensure all settlements adhere to compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

* Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies promptly to minimize financial risk.
* Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address potential risks within the transaction lifecycle.
* Prepare and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.


Requirements

* A minimum of 1 year of experience in trade lifecycle operations, preferably within investment banks, asset managers, wealth managers, brokers, or custodians.
* Experience with FX, OTC, and/or money markets is preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and methodical working in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective prioritization and time management skills.
* Client service orientation, high standards, and process discipline.
