Job Purpose
The Finance CPM Specialist will be responsible for supporting the financial consolidation and planning processes of MSC Cruises within the Finance Transformation function.
Key Accountabilities
CPM Administration:
* Prepare and guide training sessions for CPM users at central and local levels.
* Support Planning and IFRS teams in the execution of consolidation and planning processes.
* Administer CPM system (closing, mapping, budgeting, …).
* Interact closely with the PowerBI team.
CPM system maintenance and evolution:
* Actively participate in the enhancement definition: collect, document & assess business requirements, translate into functionalities and follows-up the execution.
* Perform CPM system setup, modifications and enhancements to fit to the Business requirements.
* Support and assist the users in the system process tasks and on the technical matters.
* Review the CPM reporting structure and provide suggestions to increase efficiency and automation.
* Execute reporting modifications and ensure consistency in the overall reporting structure.
* Map existing processes and identify rooms for improvement.
Finance projects:
* Participate in ad-hoc projects intersecting with the CPM system.
* Adapt the CPM system to align/integrate with S/4 HANA implementation.
* Contribute to define & document the target Finance data model.
* Document and maintain the Target Operating Model (consolidation and planning processes).
Qualifications (skills, competencies, experience)
* Fluent in English, both oral and written. Any other European language, including French and Italian is an advantage.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in implementation of CPM solutions with a service/consulting firm.
* Subject matter expertise in finance/accounting/controlling systems including Financial Reporting, Consolidation, Planning and Controlling, Budgeting & Forecasting and CFO processes.
* Hands-on delivery experience in each phase of the project lifecycle, with an emphasis on application design and process reengineering.
* Proficiency with Tagetik application.
* Highly motivated and result oriented individual, demonstrating excellent teamwork, self-commitment, client oriented and communication skills.
* Knowledge of SQL language and data integration.
