As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer – Tech Transfer (Aseptic Filling / Vials) to support one of our CDMO partners in the Basel area.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial products and driving technology transfer and re-transfer activities across manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with aseptic GMP standards and client expectations.
Your main responsibilities
* Lead tech transfer and re-tech transfer projects for aseptic vial filling processes in a GMP-regulated environment.
* Manage the lifecycle of commercial products within a CDMO setting, ensuring smooth handovers between sites and clients.
* Act as the key technical interface between the CDMO, clients, and cross-functional teams.
* Prepare, review, and approve transfer-related documentation (protocols, validation reports, risk assessments, change controls).
* Troubleshoot process issues and perform root cause analysis to support deviation resolution.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance reliability.
* Support regulatory inspections and client audits related to product transfers and aseptic manufacturing operations.
Your profile
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline.
* Proven track record (5+ years) in process engineering and technology transfer within aseptic manufacturing (vial filling).
* Solid expertise in GMP compliance, aseptic operations, and product lifecycle management.
* Previous experience working in a CDMO environment is highly valued.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Fluent in English (C1 level); French is an asset.
