IT Business Analyst with Intermodal knowledge.
MSC is continuing its growth journey, and we are looking for an Intermodal Business Analyst to join our Information Technology department at our headquarters in Geneva. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment and contribute to strategic digital transformation projects.
Your Role
As part of the program team, you will play a key role in deploying and supporting the Intermodal module within the OneVision Agency platform and implementing a new Transport Management System (TMS). You will collaborate with global teams, ensuring smooth integration and adoption across multiple agencies.
Main Responsibilities
* Analyze and map current intermodal processes and design optimized “To-Be” workflows.
* Configure the OneVision Agency platform or TMS to align with operational needs.
* Coordinate and conduct interface testing with internal stakeholders.
* Develop functional specifications and write user stories to guide development teams.
* Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation phases.
* Lead training workshops and contribute to knowledge transfer initiatives.
* Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
* 3–5 years’ experience in transportation or logistics with strong operational knowledge. This is a must have, if you don't, you won't be considered.
* Familiarity with TMS solutions (Oracle OTM, CargoWise, Blume).
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering and user story creation.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Fluency in English; ability to work in a multicultural environment.
* Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies; proficiency in MS Office.
* You are eligible to work in Switzerland, EU or Swiss citizenship or valid work permit. No Sponsorship for candidate outside of EU.
* Even if Hybrid, the job will require relocating 100% to Geneva.
