Well-established, boutique financial institution of long-standing repute. The Geneva office of this small private bank offers a busy, collegial, and close-knit team atmosphere. Their very centrally-located Geneva office is well-established and successful.
Position :
Do you have banking, asset management, or family office assistant/receptionist experience? Are you available immediately to start? This is a temporary (to permanent) reception position that can also incorporate some general administrative tasks. The role involves starting ASAP and eventually taking on more responsibilities as a right-hand assistant to the General Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to evolve over time, even if the immediate need is for a stand-alone receptionist/office coordinator.

You should have a calm demeanor and be able to manage peaks and troughs of work within a small office. You will be part of a long-established team in a successful FINMA-regulated office, working with very nice people. As the "face" of the bank, you will use your customer service skills with a smile and handle tasks such as:
* Answering the telephone
* Receiving guests at the office
* Managing emails
* Handling the post
* Managing deliveries and office supplies (delivery notes, invoices, etc.)
* Organizing meetings and managing appointments
* Dealing with simple expenses
* Coordinating with external IT service providers regarding access and appointments, including assisting new joiners with badge IDs and login setup
* Supporting ad-hoc administrative projects
Profile :
* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in reception at a bank, asset manager, family office, or similar
* A mature, well-presented, and friendly team player with excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic
* Experience in a "5-star hospitality" approach, going the extra mile, and maintaining composure under pressure with good attention to detail and flexibility
* Fluent in English and French
* Discreet, with a strong sense of confidentiality
* Comfortable working independently in a small office with fluctuating workload
* Available to work Monday to Friday in the office daily
* Excellent personal presentation and resilience
* Preferably residing close to Rive Gauche, Geneva, to minimize travel time
* Proactive, reliable, and enjoys being part of a small team
* Ethical, with a pride in their work and a commitment to the role, even if initially temporary
* Accurate, detail-oriented, and comfortable with IT systems, MS Office, and excellent telephone etiquette
* Able to accept a temporary contract of 3 to 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension or permanence
* Ready to start ASAP and able to commit to a full-time, office-based role in central Geneva (no remote work)
* Swiss, EU/EFTA nationals, or those with a valid Swiss work permit, living within easy reach of Rive Gauche, Geneva
