Ready to dive into cutting-edge technology and make a real difference for global clients? We are seeking a Senior Consultant to strengthen our Life Sciences Supply Chain Strategy team. This role focuses on drive operational excellence and business growth of pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech supply chains. How you can make an impact
1. Lead and support projects to analyse end-to-end supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations to optimise performance
2. Collaborate with clients to design and implement supply chain strategies that improve manufacturing, distribution, and supplier collaboration
3. Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and working sessions with stakeholders across supply chain, manufacturing, regulatory, quality, finance, and IT functions to build strong partnerships and align on strategic objectives
4. Translate complex supply chain challenges into clear, actionable insights and management-ready presentations
5. Contribute to business development activities including proposal writing, RFP responses, and client presentations focused on supply chain strategy, network optimisation, and resilience
6. Support the development of innovative supply chain methodologies, frameworks, and thought leadership materials on emerging trends such as supply chain digitalisation, sustainability, and risk management
7. Independently manage workstreams or smaller projects, as well as the work of offshore team members

Who we are looking for
18. Master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, life sciences, pharmacy, operations research, or a related discipline
19. 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech supply chain operations or strategy, or in management consulting with a focus on these areas
20. Proven responsibility for delivering project workstreams and managing client engagements
21. Solid understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes including inventory management, tech transfer, external manufacturing, distribution, and supplier management
22. Familiarity with regulatory principles, as well as quality compliance such as GMP/GxP and their impact on supply chain operations
23. Exposure to supply chain digital tools, data analytics, and reporting/visualisation platforms
24. Experience with value assessment, presentation, and business case creation
25. Professional fluency in English, in addition German and/or French is an advantage
Desired additional skills and profile:
26. Interest or practical experience in advanced analytics, AI, or digital technologies applied to supply chain optimisation
27. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with structured thinking to develop clear, compelling recommendations for senior stakeholders
28. Confident communicator, skilled at facilitating discussions in cross-functional and multicultural environments
29. Willingness to travel within Switzerland and abroad as required by projects
