Role Description
We’re looking for a Volunteer Communications Coordinator to manage our monthly outward communications and ensure our work is visible, timely, and well‑organised across channels. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role for someone who enjoys turning activity into clear communication and making sure nothing important gets missed.
In this role, you will support FemmeHealth Alliance by ensuring our communications are clear, current, and well coordinated across channels. When we release a podcast episode, announce an event or webinar, or share a new partnership or initiative, you will publish a short blog post on our website so our work is visible and easy to follow. You will also help keep the website up to date, reflecting both upcoming and recent activities.
You will manage our event communications by creating and maintaining event listings on Eventbrite and LinkedIn Events, and ensuring these are accurately reflected on the FemmeHealth Alliance website. This helps provide a consistent and reliable view of our events for our community and external audiences.
Each month, you will compile and send a member newsletter that brings together our recent and upcoming activity. The newsletter will highlight events, podcasts, webinars, and key announcements, drawing from content already shared on social media and other channels. The aim is to keep members informed and engaged, without adding unnecessary noise.
Overall, this role is about coordination and consistency, making sure that important announcements appear in the right places, at the right time, and in a way that feels aligned and intentional across our website, newsletter, and event platforms.
