Programmatic Media Specialist
We're a global media partner for marketers and agencies. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, so you will be too.
You will be responsible for retaining and growing key accounts via strategic partnerships, underpinned by successful campaigns and best in class service. You will also act as a mentor to junior members of the Account Services team to ensure the department is always developing and fostering the next generation of Programmatic Media Specialists.
Client Management
* Develop client-specific strategy alongside stakeholders from Sales, Trading, Data, and Marketing teams.
* Confidently pivot focus and priorities based on new information while steering towards the end goal.
* Protect and grow key accounts via upsell/cross-sell.
* Actively listen to stakeholders and clients to understand their needs, and identify opportunities and solutions that cater to those needs.
* Flex to the needs of each client without compromising MiQ in the process and resolve any issues swiftly and without fallout.
* Maintain regular communication with all accounts including scheduling, hosting, and supporting on face-to-face meetings, entertainment & business reviews.
* Maintain strong knowledge of industry trends and the impact of these on our clients.
Campaign Management
1. Media Plan:
QA of pre-campaign documents.
* Develop a detailed media plan based on Sales input, outlining budget allocation and campaign strategy.
* Project management build of creative assets & other campaign setup requirements.
* Manage creative tag trafficking.
* Campaign activation:
* Request and deliver screengrabs.
* Ensure client reporting is setup.
* Monitor pacing and performance of campaigns.
* Requests for campaign upweights where appropriate.
End of campaign:
* Manage and deliver post-campaign reporting and insights.
* Manage re-booking of BAU activity.
Administrative Support
* CRM (Salesforce) - IO management & understanding of Sales pipeline.
* Reconciliation of bookings where appropriate.
* Support with investigation and resolution of invoice queries.
Technical Support
* Implementation and troubleshooting tracking pixels.
* Knowledge of Tag Management Systems.
* Troubleshooting campaign issues with the support of the Tech team.
Product & Industry knowledge
* Understanding of product suite including requirements for activation & USPs vs competitors.
* Research into industry trends and the impact of these on our clients and the wider digital landscape.
* Proactively connect multiple data points to deliver insight driven recommendations for clients during and post campaign.
* Recognise patterns and points of differentiation to deliver robust and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. A background in advertising/media agency or similar is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
* ~3+ years of experience in an advertising/media agency or similar environment.
* Client-facing experience in programmatic advertising.
* High attention to detail.
* Reliable and organised.
* Proactive attitude.
* Willing to learn.
