PpbVF Corporation /b is looking for an exceptional bCustoms Specialist – EMEA /b to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland. /p h3Let’s talk about the role! /h3 pAs a Customs Specialist EMEA, you will play a critical role in ensuring our import and export operations meet all legal and business requirements. You’ll be part of a high‑performing team that supports compliance across multiple regions, with a strong focus on the following areas: /p ul liCustoms Compliance: Ensure adherence to customs regulations for shipments from Asia Pacific and Latin America to the EU and UK. /li liTrade Expertise: Apply customs knowledge to support smooth operations, primarily focusing on classification of our products. /li liCross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments (e.g., product teams, logistics, master data) and external stakeholders (consultants, customs authorities, brokers, carriers) to document and drive the classification process. /li liProcess Improvement: Partner with external parties to fine‑tune the classification process and tools, including an AI‑driven engine that supports classification in four European jurisdictions, linked to a global rollout in the US and Asia. /li /ul h3Skills for Success /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in economics, law, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience). /li liSeveral years of progressive experience in customs or trade compliance, with a strong connection to the classification of products according to the EU tariff scheme. /li liStrong understanding of customs legislation and operational processes. /li liExcellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex data sets. /li liFluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus. /li liProficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems, and open to learn and work with the AI‑driven engine (Trade Classifier) used in today’s processes. /li liOccasional travel within Europe is required to support audits, team collaboration, and engagement with customs authorities and external partners. /li /ul h3About VF /h3 pVF is a global apparel company connecting people to the lifestyles they cherish through its family of iconic brands.
