Join a high-performing Area team in the DACH region of partner solution engineers driving AI-powered transformation across Germany and Switzerland through Microsoft Partner companies. As a Security Partner Solution Architect you’ll design cutting-edge solutions, deliver compelling demos, and influence strategic decisions for top-tier partners to help them create new solutions and offerings for the market.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate across Microsoft and customer/partner teams through on-strategy delivery to achieve customer/partner objectives and increase satisfaction.
* Proactively manage business and technical risks, adapt methodology, and apply governance principles to identify, communicate, and minimize risks.
* Identify new opportunities for consumption and usage at scale based on business value to partners and the Microsoft value proposition for supported platforms to empower cloud success, foster and strengthen security and resilience, and drive AI innovation.
* Actively listen to and respectfully challenge customers and partners, building trust to advocate for alternative architectures or solutions that shape and enhance customer requirements.
* Identify, evaluate industry trends, gather partner insights, and map existing architecture and digital transformation solutions to partner business outcomes.
* Identifies and prioritizes opportunities aligned with revenue goals and orchestrates growth of the solution utilization pipeline with partners.
* Proactively guide and support partners in developing repeatable offerings, practices, products, and solutions.
* Proactively identify gaps through delivery, communicate those gaps to relevant team members and internal/external stakeholders, and connect gaps and patterns across business and technology areas to drive changes and improvements.
* Contribute to leading virtual teams around technologies and customer/partner challenges, share ideas, insights, and strategic, technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft.
Required Qualifications
* Proven years technical pre‑sales or technical consulting experience OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND a few years technical pre‑sales or technical consulting experience OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND a couple of years technical pre‑sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
* Professional English proficiency and fluent in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Italian.
Preferred Qualifications
* Technology know‑how for Data Security Compliance, Purview, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, the Purview Suite.
* Knowledge of security standards like NIS, GDPR, ISO 27001, and related regulations.
* Previous experience working in a customer‑facing role (internal and/or external).
* Previous experience working on technical projects.
* Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
