Position Overview
Manager, Revenue Cycle Management is primarily responsible for supporting RCM functions of the front and back office through training, education, analyzing collections, resolving non-payables special projects, handling inquiries for complex revenue cycle issues, front office auditing, clearing house management, and assistance on any special projects assigned.
Responsibilities
* Manage the team of RCM Specialists and organize support for the regions they serve.
* Assign projects to RCM Specialists.
* Ensure assigned region's net revenue percentage and improve practices' revenue and reduce RCM errors.
* Oversee RCM processes, policies, and compliance with Regional Directors and RCM Director.
* Act as SME for Revenue Cycle process and communicate, educate, and train front and back-office RCM processes.
* Maintain knowledge of billing, coding, productivity auditing, payer processing, payer policies, Medicaid, Dental Payers, and sometimes medical payers.
* Work effectively in a constantly changing environment, using good judgment and making decisions with attention to detail.
* Exhibit excellent organizational, prioritization, and coordination skills with high proficiency and accuracy.
* Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of patient’s medical records and adhere to all HIPAA and ACHC policies and regulations.
* Ensure high accuracy with attention to detail, policy, and procedures.
* Report trending data, identify RCM opportunities, and develop/update Action Plans to produce positive revenue outcomes.
* Move quickly between projects and adapt without delay.
* Meet established production and quality standards set by Specialty Dental Brands.
* Display strong calculator and computer skills, including Excel functions and pivot tables.
* Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
* Demonstrate high-level knowledge of medical and dental billing rules, coordination of benefits, modifiers, Medicare, Medicaid, and understanding of EOBs.
* Exhibit strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Practice strong time management, organization, and use of Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables), and database software.
* Apply state and federal laws, regulations, and policies.
* Adapt to and train on multiple PM systems.
* Communicate with diverse personalities discreetly, maturely, and professionally.
* Remain flexible and work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
* Cooperate easily with other departments.

Organizational Alignment
* Reports to: RCM Director
* Other Key Relationships: General Manager, VP of Revenue Cycle, RD for region providing support.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED.
* At least five (5) years in healthcare or dental RCM functions.
* At least five (5) years in billing and claims resolution.
* At least five (5) years of dental front office RCM functions.
* Preferred certifications: CPB (Certified Professional Biller), CMB (Certified Medical Biller), CDC (Certified Dental Coder), CDBS (Certified Dental Billing Specialist); willingness to obtain certification if asked.
