With an increasing portfolio in solid tumors, we are looking for a dedicated Medical Advisor to join the Medical Affairs (MAF) Team, focusing on our lung cancer and our pipeline portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Scientific expert (internally and externally) for the therapeutic area (TA) including treatment trends, unmet medical needs, scientific insights and clinical studies to enhance company product value through high quality scientific knowledge management
* Close collaboration with key Leading Specialists to identify customer needs and based on that tailoring MAF activities such as round tables, ad boards, medical education activities or related medical projects (20% of working time is spent in interactions with Leading Specialists).
* Planning, coordination and implementation of the MAF Plan incl. budget monitoring
* Member of the cross-functional value team (CVT) and the local action team (LAT); provides medical expertise, disease area & home country market insights and by leads medical programs
* Full compliance with J&J Credo and HCBI principles to preserve trust and reputation towards HCP and patients using the products
Qualifications
* Medical Doctor, Pharmaceutical or Natural Science University degree (with MD/PhD being an additional asset)
* Deep understanding of clinical oncology; scientific research, clinical trial design/conduct and interpretation of medical/scientific data, and ability to translate this into information to inform strategy as well as into designing medical affairs activities
* Minimum 2-4 years’ relevant work experience
* Proficiency in German and English, working proficiency in French as an additional advantage
* High level of critical and strategic thinking: Translating latest science and developments in the local health care environment into MAF strategy and tactics.
* Strong communication skills and, ability to discuss scientific data with HCP’s on a peer-to-peer level
* Ability to connect and build professional working relationships
* Strong collaborative skills and team player mindset, (e.g. cross-functional team collaboration, cross-border collaboration, etc.)
