We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support rolling stock projects within a leading international railway company. The role focuses on SPP/SPC activities, contributing to the design, modification, and optimization of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and high reliability performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and implement SPP/SPC-related modifications in line with technical baselines and change processes
Develop robust and reliable electrical solutions aligned with project requirements
Select and validate electrical components according to approved standards
Ensure compliance with railway regulations and applicable norms
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Functional Architecture, TCMS, Systems Engineering)
Contribute to improving electrical system reliability and performance
Act as technical interface with suppliers and support project execution
Liaise with RAMS team on safety and reliability topics
Support continuous improvement initiatives within electrical engineering
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
Fluent English and French (written and spoken); German is a plus
Proven experience in the railway industry within electrical engineering
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, wiring, and train architectures
Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., E3, Ruplan, ELSA)
Familiarity with railway standards (e.g., EN 50343)
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
