Job Description:
Join medmix to contribute to strengthening our technical core competencies and developing innovative technologies in the field of fluid handling systems.
* Lead design control during concept and product development phases.
* Oversee Design-for-Manufacturing processes and implement CAD (3D modeling and drawing).
* Plan, execute, and document exploratory pre-development projects.
* Develop workstreams to enhance technical core competencies.
* Support product development projects with technical expertise and investigations.
* Prepare technical documentation including specifications, implementation, verification, and validation reports.
* Define and evaluate design verification reports, including metrology and mechanical testing.
* Coordinate with external development partners and suppliers.
* Identify new technologies for product and process innovations in Adhesives, Dental, and Healthcare segments.
* Monitor market and new product developments in Dental, Industry, and Surgery segments.
* Assist internal stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Quality, and Operations with technical expertise.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Required Skills:
* Experience and interest in conceptual development and product development of plastic products (minimum 3 years).
* Proficiency in CAD (minimum 3 years).
* Open-minded, positive, and self-organizing attitude.
* Systematic, creative, and innovative problem-solving skills.
* Technical project management experience.
Preferred Skills:
* CAD skills with Siemens NX.
* Experience with toolmaking (injection molding).
* Background in medical or dental devices, packaging, or consumables.
* Knowledge of automation technology.
* Experience with simulation technology or self-executed simulations (structural, flow, process).
* Electrical engineering knowledge.
* Ability to perform tolerance calculations.
* Experience with “GPS-drawings”.
Languages:
German and English spoken and written.
