Responsibilities:
Analytics & Process Automation
1. Drive the Supply Chain Analytics and Automation roadmap.
2. Represent and own the analytics process across global and site supply chain functions.
Data Engineering
3. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines).
4. Develop and manage curated data models to support analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases.
5. Integrate data from multiple source systems (ERP, planning, quality, supply chain systems) into a unified analytics layer.
6. Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring, validation, and optimization.
7. Implement data transformations using best-practice patterns (medallion architecture, semantic modeling).
8. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on data architecture, security, and access models.
9. Define and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
10. Support self-service analytics by providing well-governed, reusable datasets.
11. Optimize refresh strategies, incremental loading, and performance for large-scale datasets.
12. Contribute to data governance initiatives, including lineage, cataloging, and compliance.
Data & Infrastructure Alignment
13. Collaborate with IT to ensure infrastructure strategy and support models align with analytics needs.
14. Define global data standards, metrics, and KPIs for consistency across processes.
Reporting & Visualization
15. Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps.
16. Maintain and improve reporting frameworks (IBP, Control Tower, Quality, Plasma, Supply Chain reporting).
Process Optimization
17. Implement globally consistent processes based on best practices.
18. Automate key processes to reduce manual work and lead times.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
19. Analyze KPIs to monitor process health and performance.
20. Govern change requests and ensure alignment across end-to-end processes.
Community & Support Model
21. Manage Power BI and analytics communities (~200+ users).
22. Provide first-level support, coordinate bug fixes, and enhancements via DevOps.
Documentation & Standards
23. Develop process maps, playbooks, and user guides.
24. Maintain a data catalog for transparency on data sources and refresh cycles.
