Desktop QA Engineer

Our product is an open-source, Ethereum-based app giving users power over chat, transactions, and DApps on the decentralized web. We're also building foundational infrastructure for Ethereum, including Nimbus ETH clients, Keycard hardware wallets, and Waku messaging protocols.
We've been distributed since inception. Our team consists of + core contributors and welcomes community members worldwide.
We value open-source development with minimal hierarchy and flexible work hours. We believe in autonomy while supporting organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, record, document, and track bugs, ensuring implementation matches designs.
* Assist developers with testing new features to identify issues and root causes.
* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
* Create detailed test plans and test cases.
* Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
You'll be ideal if you have:
* 3+ years as a QA test engineer.
* Experience in testing Qt/QML applications.
* Experience in testing desktop applications for Windows/macOS/Linux.
* Experience in creating test strategies and manual execution.
* Self-motivated, autonomous worker willing to try new builds/features as needed.
* Good communication skills in English.
* A strong understanding of blockchain and Ethereum.
