Overview
Join our Global Centre of Competence Power Conversion as Production Manager and oversee assembly, testing, and logistics operations across the Turgi and Seon sites. You will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and optimal resource management aligned with business goals.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Lead and support assembly teams in collaboration with shift leaders to meet production targets
* Oversee schedules and resource planning to ensure timely output
* Ensure product quality through ownership of testing processes, while collaborating with Testing as an internal customer to align production, material planning, and logistics
* Engage with Engineering and Project Management to resolve non-conformities and drive corrective actions
* Develop capacity plans aligned with business goals
* Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives, with a strong focus on Lean Management principles (MES)
* Champion initiatives for operational excellence and sustainability
* Manage and develop production supervisors and assemblers while ensuring a culture of safety, quality and innovation
Your background
* Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years in production management within a manufacturing setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Fluent in German and English (both are a must)
* Experience with SAP or similar production systems
* Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
* Clear communicator with a hands-on mindset
